History Kloppenburg Machinebouw

Kloppenburg Machinebouw in Ulrum originates from Oldenhuis B.V. in Ulrum. The company has been focusing on the agriculture sector since as far back as 1936. Many agricultural machines have been designed throughout the years, including the Oldenhuis Haulm puller and Haulm topper and the WiBo palletising machine.

Oldenhuis B.V. was taken over in 1989 by Kloppenburg Mechanisatie B.V., manufacturer of WKM beet harvesting machines since 1968.

Oldenhuis B.V. in Ulrum was run by Willem Kloppenburg until 31 December 2010. Following his death the company was continued by his children, with Bart Kloppenburg as managing director.

The name was changed to Kloppenburg Machinebouw on 1 June 2012.
